It was tuesday of april 24th of the year 1973,  a boy was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), who changed
 the way ,the world used to play cricket. Here is a short biography about this extraordinary boy.

                  Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is one of the greatest player ever born in the history of cricket.
Tendulkar was named after his father's,Ramesh Tendulkar- who was a novlist, favourite music director
 Sachin Dev Burman. Sachin was under guidance of his coach Ramakant Achrekar in his school Sharadashram Vidyamandir. Dennis Lillee, an australian fast bowler, advised him to focus on his batting instead of bowling. After crushing Gavaskar's record of 34 test centuries, he told that
that Gavaskar had given him a pair of his own ultra light pads which was the greatest source of encouragement for him.Sachin was married to Anjali , a paediatrician, a daughter of industrialist of Gujarat, Anand Mehta. They have two childrens Sara and Arjun.

       
               In 1989 , in just 16 years of age Tendulkar played his first test match against Pakistan at
Karachi. He was bowled by pakistani debutant Waqar Younis at 15 runs.He scored his first ODI century in 1994 against Australia in Sri-lanka at Colombo. It was a great piece of achivement for Sachin since
 it took 79 ODIs to score a century.Sachin's popularity was on rise when he was the leading run
scorer of 1996 world cup.Sachin's father Ramesh Tendulkar died in the middle of 1999 world cup ,
which made him to fly straight away to Mumbai .However he completely overcomed from the situation
and hit smashing 140 runs of 101 balls in the very next match. He dedicated this century to his father.



                 Tendulkar's game shined at each game and flourished at every tounamaent. Soon the lamb
became the lion.Tendulkar's performance in test as well as ODIs was on rise in the year 2001 and
2002,with both bat and ball.Tendulkar scored 673 runs in 11 matches in 2003 ICC cricket world cup.
Tendulkar was given man of the tournament award.That year was very . In 2004 , Tendulkar suffered
from tennis elbow,which kept him out of the cricket most of the year.This was the decline period in the
phase of his cricket carrer. Tendulkar himself told that he thought it was the end of his carrer. He was
not allowed to play some selected shots. His game was totally changed. The real Sachin was lost
somewhere. Tendulkar himself confessed these on a tv channel interview. Tendulkar scored record
breaking 35th test century against Sri Lankaon 10 dec. 2005 at Feroz Shah Kotla. Some controversies
also arosed during the preperation of 2007 WC , when the then coach of India ,Greg Chappell pointed
about Sachin's attitude towards cricket was not correct. On this sachin said that no coach had ever
suggested that his attitude towardscricket was incorrect.Tendulkar ,who was forced to come down the
order in 2007 WC, showed mediocre performance in the tournament. Which led to the early dismissal
of the team in WC. On this Ian Chappell ,brother of Greg, suggested the retirement of Sachin in a daily
news paper of Mumbai.


                  
                        After 2007 WC his carrer took new turn and a massive inclination towards the limit .
In 2010, against South Africa , he become the first the man on the planet (as said by Ravi Shastri)
reach 200 mark in limited over cricket overshadowing the previous Saeed Anwar's record of 194 against India and Charles Coventry's 194* against Bangladesh . In 2008 , first IPL took place
and he was made icon player and captain of Mumbai Indians . He was signed for a sum of
US $ 1,121,250 . In 2010 IPL, Sachin made 618 runs of 14 innings, breakingthe previous Shaun Marsh's record for highest runs  scored ever in IPL.He also won best batsman and best cricketer award at
 IPL award ceremony 2010.
